I wonder, because a friend of mine actually makes these and sells them for a long running fundraiser. All the money she makes goes to charity. Who doesn't love the Orcas here in Puget Sound?  The LOCAL PNW Orca resident pods all have distinct markings on them and unique numbers and of course names too. In this painting, there is an adult male in the foreground with two females and a baby. They are all just swimming off into the sunset. A metaphor of life perhaps...but just the way I like it, in my world.

I was once on a whale watching boat, in the daytime, and the orcas did come this close, actually closer to our boat. It was an awesome experience, that I will not soon forget. Maybe that is why I love to paint them so frequently. This is one of eight I have done. All different, yet similar.

Yogi the Bear as ART in 3D

 

I can't wait to see this movie.... As a kid, yogi & boo boo were two of my favorite characters. I loved to watch them for hours on TV. The fun and frolic with these two should be fun to watch....and in 3D it should reach out and grab ya! .... Get your "pic-a-nic baskets" and let's go to the movie to watch this ART in motion. movies are ART in themselves...now a days... you gotta love that sketching has turned 3D and fun.

All you need is LOVE

Comes a day in everyone's life that you say....All you need is LOVE...right? Well it seems people on Google, like, or LOVE it, too.

Supposedly, "Love" is the most googled word, according to what Oprah told us today. So, will we see if it holds true?....let's see how many people hit my Blog with LOVE.

all I need is some LOVE for my art, and blog, and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, is always a good thing.
